Do you think that Python (the programming language) was named after a snake? Contrary to how it sounds, the programming language got its name from the popular British comedy series "Monty Python's Flying Circus"! (Source)
Python is a famous programming language as it is easy to learn, and there are many libraries available that can be used in various types of projects, such as games, websites, data analytics, graphics, etc. This is why we at Coding Lab focus on it as one of the key languages for our students to learn in depth.
Python was implemented by Guido van Rossum, and at that time, he was also reading the published scripts from Monty Python's Flying Circus. Hence, some inspiration was drawn from the series.
