Wishing all our Primary 6 students good luck for their PSLE exams! Whie this month is a busy period, espeically for our Primary 6 students, that doesn’t mean we cannot have some time to unwind while learning about technology at the same time!

Starting with some #TechNews, cancer may not yet be a thing of the past, but diagnosis will sure be fast! 🩺

MIT researchers have developed a new gene editing technique 🧬 called prime editing. Based off CRISPR technology, prime editing is faster and more accurate in revealing the harmfulness of mutations! This technique not only paves the way for precision medicine 💊, but could even lead to new cancer treatments by uncovering important biological insights 🔭 previously missed using artificial gene copies! The World of Studio Ghibli

Did you know that most keyboards use the QWERTY layout, which was first used in 1878, for typewriters? It has retained its popularity to this day, for more than 150 years. (Source)

You might be thinking - why the QWERTY layout? The history of the development of the layout is shrouded in mystery, though recent research suggests that it evolved slowly over time as typewriters were used to transcribe morse code. (Source)
