Congratulations to the Coding Lab Urban Coders team (Ages 13-18)!

We're so proud to announce that our Coding Lab Urban Coders team (Ages 13 to 18) achieved the Best Programming Award in the final competition at the 2023 Minecraft Cup in early February 2024!

After achieving the Grand Prize Award (1st Place) with their amazing project in January 2024, our very own student representative from Singapore, Jacob Xu, NUS High flew to Japan to join in the finals at the Microsoft Japan HQ in Shinagawa, Tokyo!

Over the months, the team met over Zoom to discuss their innovative ideas and coded an outstanding Minecraft world of their own.

Fun Fact! - Did you know that the presentation was fully done in Japanese and our Singapore representative, Jacob, got help from his teammates to translate and picked up key Japanese phrases just for the presentation? Talk about teamwork making the dream work!
