National Junior Cybersecurity Olympiad 2024
🌟 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐀𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐚: 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠! 🌟
At just 12 years old, Aiden is already making significant strides in the coding world! Recently, he secured the Silver award at the HCIC and achieved a Bronze medal at the National Junior Cybersecurity Olympiad, despite 99% of the contestants being secondary students. His journey in coding began with Scratch in Primary 2, and now he confidently navigates Python, Java, and even cybersecurity! 🥉✨

We’re proud to announce that 7 of our Coding Lab students have achieved 3 Platinum Awards (the highest honour) and 4 Gold Awards (the second highest honour)! The annual Hwa Chong Info-communications Challenge (HCIC) aims to ignite the interest of primary school students in the field of info-communications, as well as to recognise young talents in the areas of programming, coding and robotics.
