Surya’s passion for programming and computational thinking led him to pursue coding actively, participating in numerous hackathons and workshops over the years. His deep interest in the field eventually brought him to Coding Lab as an educator, where he works with teens and primary school students.

As someone who understands the journey of a budding programmer, Surya constantly seeks to inspire "eureka" moments in his students and cultivate their curiosity, even beyond the syllabus. In keeping with the founding principles of Coding Lab, he believes that learning to think like a computer scientist is essential. He encourages students to articulate and visualize their logical sequences before coding, helping them develop strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills—key assets in today’s world.
