MIT researchers have developed a new gene editing technique 🧬 called prime editing. Based off CRISPR technology, prime editing is faster and more accurate in revealing the harmfulness of mutations! This technique not only paves the way for precision medicine 💊, but could even lead to new cancer treatments by uncovering important biological insights 🔭 previously missed using artificial gene copies! Did you know that most keyboards use the QWERTY layout, which was first used in 1878, for typewriters? It has retained its popularity to this day, for more than 150 years. (Source)
