#CodingLabStudents: Sanya Gudi, SheHacks 2025 Winner!

You know it’s your passion when you keep going — even after missing the first chance. That’s how Sanya’s coding journey began. She missed the sign-up for her school’s coding activity, but she didn’t let that stop her. She told her parents she still wanted to learn coding — and that’s how she found Coding Lab. The rest is history.

Today, at just 12 years old, Sanya is the proud winner of SheHacks 2025 — a prestigious hackathon that celebrates creativity and innovation, and won the Silver Award in the International Coding Showcase 2024/2025!

💬 “Coding has made a difference in my life by improving my problem-solving skills and helping me think outside the box. Debugging reminds me of real life – it’s hard to find the problem at first, but with a different perspective, you can always figure it out.”

Sanya now dreams of working at Google — a platform used by millions every day. She’s passionate about closing the gender gap in big tech companies and making sure women get the recognition they deserve for their contributions.

We’re so proud to be part of her journey. Her story is a reminder that it’s never too late to begin — and that when kids discover what they love, they’ll go far. Read her full story on our blog here!
